Asante Kotoko's interim coach, Karim Zito, has a message for fans. He wants them to focus on winning rather than the style of play.
Zito has taken over from Prosper Narteh Ogum. His goal is to improve the club's performance until the season ends.
Currently, Kotoko is fourth in the Premier League. They are six points behind the leaders and have not won in four matches.
"Fans must be content with only winning," Zito said during his unveiling.
He emphasized that their priority is to win games and return to the top. "It’s not about 'fine' football now; it’s about who wins," he added.
Zito plans to tackle each match one at a time, aiming for 18 points.
His first game will be against Aduana FC at Baba Yara Stadium.
Zito has experience, having led Dreams FC to a CAF Confederation Cup semi-final. He also guided Ghana’s U-20 team to victory in the 2021 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
