Ghana international Jordan Ayew praised his father, Abedi Pele. He acknowledged his dad's role in his career and that of his brothers.
Abedi Pele is one of Africa's greatest football talents. His sons, Ibrahim, Andre, and Jordan, are following in his footsteps.
Jordan and Andre both played for Abedi's former club, Olympique Marseille. They have since taken different paths in their careers.
Currently at Leicester City, Jordan has made 300 Premier League appearances. He emphasized the importance of his parents in his life.
"My Dad has done a lot for me and my family," he said. "Expectations are high because of my father's legacy."
He added that he and Andre have managed these expectations well. They focus on their own journeys as players.
On his mother’s support, he said, “Mums are always positive!” He believes their parents can be proud of their achievements.
As captain of the Black Stars, Jordan feels he and Andre still have more to give. "There’s still more to come from us," he stated confidently.
