10 junior police officers to re-file case against IGP

Ten junior police officers have refuted claims they abandoned their lawsuit against the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) over alleged unlawful transfers.

According to a statement from Nana Ewusi Kwansah, the officers withdrew their case to amend and strengthen it before re-filing, a common legal strategy.

The statement clarified that this decision was to present a stronger case and not an abandonment.

It also criticized media reports for presenting a one-sided narrative that favored the IGP and the Police Administration, noting that the defendants had only appeared in court once to request an adjournment.

The officers remain committed to pursuing justice, urging the public to avoid misinformation and support fair and balanced reporting.
