10-member taskforce for new national airline inaugurated

A 10-member taskforce has been formed to re-establish a national airline. The inauguration took place in Accra.

Mr. Charles Asare chairs the taskforce. Their main tasks include finalizing the business model and operational framework for the airline. They will also coordinate with potential strategic and technical partners.

The taskforce will oversee regulatory compliance and certification processes. Additionally, they will facilitate initial operational arrangements like staffing, fleet acquisition, and route planning.

They are responsible for providing periodic reports and recommendations to the President through the Ministry of Transport. Other members of the taskforce include Mr. Twumasi A. Selby.
