President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to Ghanaians. He declared that his administration is focused on delivering urgent reforms with integrity.
During a national address, he marked the end of his first 120 days in office. Mahama outlined bold actions taken by his government. He described these actions as groundwork for “Resetting Ghana.”
He aims to build a more just, inclusive, and accountable society. His initiatives include forming a lean government and establishing a robust code of conduct.
Mahama also mentioned scrapping burdensome taxes and initiating inquiries into past wrongdoings. Other actions include launching job creation programs and tackling illegal mining.
He emphasized reviving the environment, promoting tourism, and streamlining scholarships. His administration supports vulnerable populations and holds security agencies accountable.
Mahama stressed that these initiatives are not mere gestures or campaign promises. They represent a real shift in governance practices.
“These actions signify transparency, accountability, and efficiency,” he stated. He expressed urgency for the well-being of every Ghanaian.
Reinforcing his commitment, Mahama said, “I take my promises seriously. My word is my bond!”
