126 malfunctioning Accra streetlights fixed in 50 days - GAR Minister - Ghanaian Times

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ms. Linda Akweley Ocloo, is pleased with new streetlights.

She reported that 126 malfunctioning streetlights have been fixed in 50 days.

Notable streets with improved lighting include George Bush Highway and Independence Avenue.

Other streets include Nima Highway, Professor J.E Atta Mills Highway, and ACP Pokuase Interchange.

This progress fulfills her promise to illuminate 70 percent of the capital's streetlights.

Tuesday marked exactly 50 days since she made that commitment to promote safety.
