The University of Ghana has held a congregation for 2,927 graduates from the Colleges of Humanities, Basic and Applied Sciences, and the School of Graduate Studies.
This is part of a week-long ceremony for 15,750 students.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nana Aba Appiah-Amfo highlighted UG’s strides in academic excellence, ranking first in Ghana and West Africa.
She emphasized the university’s commitment to impactful research, faculty development, and infrastructure upgrades.
Guest speaker Samuel Ocran urged graduates to embrace change, leverage technology, and persist in their career journeys.
The university also reported 17,473 new undergraduate enrollments and 4,523 graduate admissions for the 2024-25 academic year.
