15 companies and 3 individuals awarded at the 9th PayAngel Ghana Manufacturing Awards, 2025

Fifteen top companies and three outstanding individuals were honored at the 9th PayAngel Ghana Manufacturing Awards. The event took place at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

The theme was “Driving Ghana’s GDP Growth through Export Manufacturing and Innovation.”

Xodus Communications Limited organized the awards to celebrate excellence in manufacturing. The focus was on stewardship, health and safety, corporate social responsibility, and innovation.

Richard Abbey Jnr, Director of Xodus Communications, delivered the welcome address. He highlighted this year's emphasis on innovation in the industry. His goal is to encourage competition both locally and globally.

Abbey noted the sector's contributions to national development. Some manufacturers have thrived over time while others have innovated significantly.

He also mentioned challenges like poor road infrastructure affecting logistics. Tariffs on imports were another concern he raised.

"Congratulations to all winners tonight," he said. He expressed pride in the growth of various production hubs he visited. Winners were chosen by an independent advisory board based on specific criteria for each category.
