2 UDS senior members dead

The University for Development Studies (UDS) is mourning the loss of two respected figures. Ing. Prof. Shaibu Abdul-Ganiyu was the Dean of the School of Engineering. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Atami was part of the School of Business.

The University announced that their passing is a significant blow to the UDS community. Both men were more than just academics; they were mentors and leaders.

“These tragic losses are deeply felt across the university,” said a statement. “Ing. Prof. Abdul-Ganiyu and Rev. Dr. Atami were dedicated scholars and pillars of knowledge.”

Ing. Prof. Abdul-Ganiyu was known for his visionary leadership in engineering. Rev. Dr. Atami provided spiritual guidance and mentorship to many students.

The University extended its deepest sympathies to all affected by this loss. They stated, “May their souls rest in perfect peace, and may their legacies inspire all who knew them.”
