2024 Election: Our members attacked the party, and the NDC played them back against us - Bawumia

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the NPP Presidential Candidate for 2024. He expressed disappointment over internal attacks within the NPP during the election campaign.

Speaking to party stakeholders in Takoradi, he emphasized that these attacks hurt the party's chances. Internal conflicts led to damaging comments from key members against the party and government.

Dr. Bawumia stated, "Unity is key in every group endeavor." He noted that for the 2024 Elections, internal issues were a significant problem.

He explained that some members publicly criticized the party and government. The NDC used these comments in media advertisements against them.

Dr. Bawumia highlighted that attacks from within have a strong negative impact. He urged for unity within the party to avoid future issues like those faced in 2024.
