2025 AMC & TICON Africa conference launched

The 2025 Africa Marketing Confederation (AMC) and Technology and Innovation Conference (TICON) has launched in Accra. The theme is “Empowering Africa’s Tech Future.”

The conference will highlight Africa’s digital transformation journey. It aligns with Ghana’s technological and economic goals. This year, the event focuses on innovation, marketing, and digital infrastructure.

These elements are crucial for accelerating Africa’s growth. The conference also reinforces Ghana as a tech development hub.

During the launch, two prominent figures were recognized. Prof Robert Ebo Hinson is a leading marketing scholar in Africa. Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson is the Chairman of Celltel Networks Limited.

Their recognition highlights Ghana's intellectual capital and innovation leadership. Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, Deputy CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority, expressed strong support for the conference.

He noted its alignment with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision for tourism. The Authority believes the event will enhance the tech ecosystem and promote Ghana's culture.

The 2025 AMC & TICON Africa Conference will occur from August 20th to 22nd in Accra. It aims to attract thought leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators from across Africa and beyond.

Organisers are optimistic that this conference will foster collaboration and technological advancement throughout Africa.
