3 Suspects arrested in connection with robbery and murder of Momo Vendors

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested three suspects. They are linked to the robbery and murder of two mobile money vendors.

The first incident happened on February 13, 2025. It took place at Krofrom around noon. The victim, Patricia Nimako, lost her life and some money.

DCOP Emmanuel Teye-Cudjoe shared details at a media briefing. He noted that the second incident occurred on March 10, 2025. Gideon Owusu Sarpong, also known as "Junior," was robbed and killed at home in Kwadaso.

The arrested suspects are Charles Kwame Danso, 23, Philip Fordjour, 29, and Samuel Addae Mensah, 42. Danso is also called “Kwame Charles” or “Miami.” They were arrested on March 21, 2025.

Charles was caught in Pankrono while Philip and Samuel were found in Atimatim. The suspects are currently in police custody. They will soon face justice in court.

Efforts are ongoing to find a fourth suspect named Martin Amoah. He is also known as Augustine Amoah or “Baba Macho.” Authorities believe he is hiding in Accra or nearby areas like Kumasi and Dunkwa-on-Offin.
