About 300 commercial motorbike riders, known as Okada, have received training in road safety. This initiative is part of Gold Coast Mobility Innovations' efforts to professionalize the motorbike transport sector. The goal is to improve public safety.
Mr. Ras Mubarak, a Founding Partner of Gold Coast Mobility Innovations, spoke about this effort. He mentioned that the company has developed a ride-hailing mobile app for motorbike transport. This app aims to enhance customer service and bring dignity to the Okada business.
Mubarak highlighted that the motivation behind this initiative is the lack of proper training and regulation in the Okada sector. To address this issue, the company offers free training to commercial motorbike riders. This training focuses on improving road safety and customer service.
