**Background of the Case**
Charles Korsah is the complainant in this case. He is a businessman living in Ashongman Estate. In 2015, he and three associates bought six plots of land at Abokobi-Boi from the Odai Ntow family.
In 2024, Korsah built an uncompleted four-bedroom storey building on his land. Stephen Yeboah also constructed a four-bedroom uncompleted house nearby with a fence wall. Both have faced harassment and demolition attempts over time.
The situation worsened when their caretaker, Dawuda Karim, was allegedly shot by unknown assailants. Following this incident, Korsah contacted the Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to request an investigation.
On March 25, 2025, between 9:30 p.m. and midnight, the accused arrived at the site with pickaxes and maul hammers. They caused damage to Korsah's buildings.
When alerted, Korsah gathered nearby workers to confront them. The Ayimensah Police were called and arrested the four men while others escaped.
During questioning, the accused claimed they were brought from Nsawam in a white pickup truck by an unknown person who hired them for demolition work.
The investigation continues as authorities search for those who fled the scene. The prosecution will present more evidence at the next hearing on April 10, 2025.
