4 institutions sign MoU for competency-based training in recycling technology

Four institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday.

This agreement focuses on training learners in recycling technology.

Students will gain access to composting and recycling plants owned by Jospong Group. This will provide them with valuable workplace experience.

The four institutions involved are:
- Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET)
- Ghana TVET Service (GTVETS)
- German Development Agency (GIZ)
- Jospong Group of Companies

The MoU lasts for 10 years. It is part of the “Pact for Skill” initiative. This program supports the transformation of the TVET system in Ghana.

Beneficiaries include Takoradi Technical Institute, Kumasi Technical Institute, and Dabokpa Technical Institute.
