57% of NPP supporters prefer Bawumia to run for 2028 - Global InfoAnalytics

A recent poll by Global InfoAnalytics shows that 57% of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters prefer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the 2028 presidential elections.

Dr. Bawumia is currently the NPP’s Presidential Candidate for 2024. He is the clear front-runner for the party's next flagbearer selection.

The poll indicates that Dr. Bawumia has 48% of the overall vote for the 2028 leadership race. His closest competitor, Kennedy Agyapong, has 25%. Dr. Osei Adutwum follows with 13%.

The remaining candidates together receive 14% of the votes. Among NPP supporters, Dr. Bawumia’s lead is even stronger, with 57% support.

Kennedy Agyapong receives 22%, while Dr. Osei Adutwum gets 11%. These results show Dr. Bawumia’s strong influence in the party.

They also suggest he will maintain support beyond the upcoming elections. His role as Vice President and current flagbearer has solidified his position among party members looking ahead to future elections.
