60th Annual Meeting of ADB: President Mahama arrives in Côte d'Ivoire

President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

He will attend the 60th Annual Meeting of the African Development Bank (ADB). He will also participate in the 51st Annual Meeting of the African Development Fund (ADF).

Accompanying him are his Executive Secretary, Dr. Calistus Mahama, and Deputy Chief of Staff, Stan Dogbe.

President Mahama received a warm welcome from Ivorian Minister of Transport Kone Amadou at Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport.

The high-level meetings start today, Monday, May 26, 2025. They focus on the theme: "Making Africa’s Capital Work Better for Africa’s Development."

A key highlight will be electing a new ADB President. Dr. Akinwumi Adesina is completing his second and final term and cannot run again.
