Archbishop Charles Agyinasare leads Perez Chapel International. He recently spoke about Nana Kwame Bediako, known as Cheddar. Agyinasare told him he cannot win the 2024 election without a political party.
Cheddar understood this message. He also knew he was unlikely to win. The Archbishop mentioned that it was Cheddar's dream to run for president, so he prayed for him.
Agyinasare noted that the New Force faced challenges at polling stations. He explained on Joy Prime that Cheddar lacked a political party. Without one, winning an election in Ghana is difficult.
He said, "You can’t win an election in Ghana without a political party." However, he supported Cheddar's ambition and offered his prayers.
Cheddar realized he wouldn’t really win the election. He faced obstacles like not having polling agents at stations. Without them, monitoring the election becomes challenging.
Despite these issues, Agyinasare praised Cheddar for trying. In his pursuit of legacy, Cheddar aimed to be part of history. He acknowledged his lack of political experience but still entered the race.
As an independent candidate, Cheddar received 84,478 votes in the 2024 presidential election. This placed him third overall in Ghana’s elections.
