“It is a monstrous lie” – Thaddeus Sory denies meeting with members of CJ Probe committee

One of the lawyers for the petitioners wants the chief justice removed. He denied having a private meeting with the panel investigating these petitions.

President John Dramani Mahama has been asked to dissolve this panel. The petition claims that the current panel is compromised.

The petition mentioned Justices Gabriel Pwamang, Samuel Adibu-Asiedu, and Yonni Kulendi. They were reportedly seen dining with lawyer Thaddeus Sory at Santoku Restaurant.

Thaddeus Sory denied that any such meeting occurred. He shared his denial in a social media post.

Sory stated that it is easy to fact-check this claim. He also noted that many know who gets justice through negotiation. "It is a monstrous lie," he said on Facebook.
