A/R: 18-year-old girl butchered in her room at Nweneso No. 2

An 18-year-old girl was killed in her room at Nweneso No.2. This incident occurred in the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipality of the Ashanti region.

Family members discovered her body Saturday morning. She was found in a pool of blood.

Fredrick Duah, the assembly member of Nweneso II, reported the details. He said she had a severe cut on her head from a sharp object.

The cause of her death is still unknown. Investigations are ongoing to determine what happened.

The police have taken the body to the mortuary. They are asking the community for information to aid their investigation.
