A/R: Four NDC members suspended in Asawase over anti-party conduct

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Asawase has suspended four members. They violated the party’s code of conduct.

The suspended members are Murtala Muhammed, Farida Mohammed, Aminu Issah, and Salisu Sanusi. All four are branch-level executives. They appeared in a viral video making derogatory remarks about the President and others.

A statement from the Constituency Secretary announced that suspensions take effect immediately. The members have been referred to the party's disciplinary committee for further action.

Murtala Muhammed is the Branch Youth Organiser for Malam Kataki. Farida Mohammed is the Branch Women’s Organizer for Malam Ladan. Aminu Issah and Salisu Sanusi serve as Branch Communications Officers for Methodist Home Science JSS 2 and Methodist JSS, respectively.

The statement emphasized that such behavior undermines unity and discipline within the party. The Asawase Constituency Executive Committee takes these matters seriously. They reaffirm their commitment to protecting the party's integrity.

They also called on all members to remain respectful and united. The focus should be on advancing the NDC’s vision and mission.
