A/R: Man, 75, butchered at Manso Deduako, one arrested

A 75-year-old man named Ibrahim Laah was killed in Manso Deduako. This incident happened on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Ibrahim was a father of three and worked as a farmer. He had a disagreement with another person that led to his death.

Emmanuel Gyau, the Assembly Member for Manso Deduako, confirmed the news to Citi News on Wednesday, May 28. He stated that police have arrested a suspect related to the case.

The Manso Adubia Divisional Police Command is conducting investigations. The arrested suspect is currently assisting them.

Gyau mentioned he contacted the municipal chairman after hearing about the incident. They went to the scene and found Ibrahim lying in his blood.

They learned the name of the suspect, who has since been apprehended by police. Ibrahim's body has been taken to Saint Martin’s Hospital at Agroyesum for an autopsy.
