ACDT’s Dr. Frank Ato wins Best Paper Award at CIB World Congress 2025

The Africa Center for Digital Transformation (ACDT) is celebrating a major milestone.

At the CIB World Congress 2025, hosted by Purdue University in the USA, Dr. Frank Ato Ghansah won the Best Paper Award. His study is making waves in the digital revolution of the built environment.

The award-winning paper is titled “Prioritising Critical Barriers to Digital Twins Implementation for Sustainable Smart Facility Management in the Built Environment: A Global Study.” It tackles a key question: how can we use digital innovation to manage our buildings and cities sustainably?
