ASFC 2025: Ghana boys come from behind to beat Uganda and clinch bronze

Ghana's U-15 boys team ended their campaign at the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship (ASFC) on a high note. They achieved this with a comeback victory over Uganda in the third-place playoff.

Kwaku Danso's team came from behind to win 2-1. This victory secured them the bronze medal in the tournament.

Uganda entered this match after losing to Senegal in the semifinals. That game took place on Friday, April 25, at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Uganda scored first, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime. They breached Ghana's defense early in the match.

In the second half, Ghana responded strongly and scored twice. This ensured they brought home their first medal in this competition.

Ghana is participating for the first time after missing the last two editions.
