Ghana's U-15 boys team faces a tough challenge in the semifinals of the 2025 CAF Schools Football Championship (ASFC).
The Black Comets will play against Tanzania. They topped Group A by winning all their matches.
Ghana defeated Uganda, South Africa, and Algeria to secure first place. They scored six goals and did not concede any.
Kwaku Danso's team started with a 2-0 win over Uganda. They then beat South Africa 1-0 and finished with a 3-0 victory over Algeria.
Tanzania secured second place in Group B, finishing ahead of Côte d'Ivoire based on goals scored.
Danso is confident about his team's chances after their strong group stage performances.
"Our target is to win the trophy," he stated. "We are working towards it."
He added, "We can assure you that we will win the ultimate."
In the other semifinal, Uganda will face Senegal. Senegal finished third in the 2024 edition held in Tanzania.
The semifinal matches are set to start at 14:00 GMT.
