ASP Jalil advises IGP to step aside over leaked tape investigation

ASP Bawah Abdul Jalil has called for IGP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare to step aside to ensure an impartial investigation into a leaked tape implicating him in serious allegations.

The tape alleges extrajudicial killings, corruption, and maladministration under Dampare's leadership.

Abdul Jalil emphasized the need for transparency and justice, expressing concern that Dampare's presence could hinder an unbiased inquiry.

He praised the integrity of Parliamentary Committee Chairman Samuel Atta Akyea investigating the matter but criticized premature statements from public figures clearing the IGP.

Abdul Jalil urged for a credible investigation to uncover truth and ensure accountability for affected parties in Ghana.
