Abdulai Mahamud is now the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bole/Bamboi Municipality. He received strong support from Assembly Members. Mahamud got 34 "Yes" votes and 5 "No" votes, which is 87% approval.
In his acceptance speech, Mahamud thanked everyone for their support. He promised to serve the entire municipality. He takes this responsibility seriously and will tackle pressing challenges once in office.
“I know the challenges we face,” he said. “I will address them as soon as possible.”
Savannah Regional Minister Salisu Be-Awuribe praised Mahamud's confirmation. He assured residents that the Bole Municipality would see significant development under Mahamud’s leadership.
He also encouraged Assembly Members to collaborate closely with the new MCE. This teamwork will help improve revenue generation and execute development projects successfully in the municipality.
