Abeiku Santana appointed Deputy CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority

Renowned broadcaster and tourism advocate Abeiku Santana has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).

Known in private life as Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, he has been a strong promoter of Ghana’s tourism sector, playing key roles in initiatives such as the "Year of Return" and "Beyond the Return" campaigns.

His appointment aligns with President John Mahama’s vision to boost tourism, create jobs, and attract investment. Abeiku Santana, a certified tourism consultant, is expected to lead innovative campaigns and enhance stakeholder collaboration.

With a Master’s degree from the University of Ghana Business School, he brings experience in media, marketing, and tourism promotion. His appointment has been widely welcomed by tourism and entertainment stakeholders.
