Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has donated 100 wheelchairs to individuals with physical disabilities in his constituency as part of his post-election gratitude tradition.

In a Facebook post on December 16, the MP thanked his constituents for their overwhelming support, which secured him a landslide victory of 93.12%, with 41,073 votes against 3,035 for his closest contender, Dr. John Savior Eleblu Yao of the NPP.

“This weekend, I continued my tradition of appreciating my beloved constituents after every election victory. I shall serve you better than ever,” Ablakwa wrote, recalling past initiatives like covering children’s medical bills at Battor Catholic Hospital.
