North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has criticized CHRAJ for clearing Rev. Kusi Boateng of conflict of interest allegations linked to a GH¢2.6 million payment from the National Cathedral Secretariat to JNS Talent Centre, a company tied to Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.
Ablakwa questioned CHRAJ’s rationale, calling the findings “bizarre.” He highlighted that JNS provided no services for the payment and lacked proper documentation, yet CHRAJ deemed it a reimbursement for funds advanced to contractors.
CHRAJ concluded there was no wrongdoing but recommended a forensic audit of the Cathedral project and possible prosecution of its trustees over corruption and abuse of power concerns.
