The Ablekuma Central Municipal Assembly has launched a decongestion exercise.
This initiative is led by Municipal Chief Executive Frank Nkansah.
The goal is to reclaim public spaces and ensure order in the municipality.
Residents have raised concerns about improper vehicle parking and blocked walkways.
The exercise will focus on areas like Mataheko, Kaneshie, and Laterbiokoshie.
During the exercise, Nkansah stated that violators will face penalties.
Those caught may receive a spot fine of at least GHS700.
He explained, “We are doing spot fines for violations.”
Some cases may require further action at the assembly office.
Nkansah added that they might take legal action for certain vehicles.
