Accra Academy Parents Association asked to work with school authorities to address challenges - Ghanaian Times

The newly elected executives of the Parents Association (PA) at Accra Academy Senior High School have received important advice. They are urged to serve with dedication. Collaboration with the school administration is essential to address challenges.

Mr. Alfred Gedjah spoke at the handing over ceremony on Thursday. This event took place at the headmaster's office in Accra. He noted that the outgoing PA faced several challenges, especially in fundraising.

Many parents did not see the need to support the PA. They believed that the Free Senior High School program provided sufficient resources for the school. This belief hindered contributions to the PA's efforts.

Despite these obstacles, Mr. Gedjah highlighted some successes. With help from certain parents and organizations, they completed a few projects. These projects aimed to improve teaching and learning at the school.
