Accra East ECG installs new 11 KV feeder at Teshie New England

The Accra East Region of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has inaugurated a new 11 KV feeder. This is an important step to improve power supply in the region.

The new feeder aims to enhance the quality and reliability of electricity. It will significantly reduce power outages and low voltage issues. Customers in Teshie, Tseaddo, Chain Homes, and nearby areas have faced these problems.

Mr. Bismark Otoo is the Regional General Manager for Accra East. He explained that this construction supports ECG’s commitment to safe and reliable electricity.

He mentioned that the previous feeder was overloaded. This caused frequent outages and low voltage due to high demand.
