The Accra Ubuntu Lions Club (AULC) has completed its High Impact Hunger project. They officially handed it over to the Princess Marie Louise Children’s Hospital.
This project included several key improvements. It refurbished the hospital’s Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC). It also renovated a skills training shed for mothers. Additionally, it upgraded the hospital’s corn milling room to generate funds for the NRC. The goal is to promote health and well-being for children facing malnutrition.
The project was done in partnership with Princess Marie Children’s Hospital. It received sponsorship from DHL Express Ghana Limited, Crystal Palm Hotels, and others. Other sponsors included Symbol of Hope International and A-Link Engineering Limited.
Last Saturday, Dr. Helena Asamoah-Hassan PMJF spoke at the event. She is the governor of District 418 of Lions International. She congratulated the club on their achievement despite limited resources.
