Adenta MCE criticized over controversial demolition, alleged land-grabbing

Adenta Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Ebenezer Doku, is under fire after leading a controversial demolition exercise on land leased to a company near the Pentecost Church in Adenta.

The company, which has occupied the property for over 20 years, was in the process of upgrading its operations.

During this transition, Hon. Doku allegedly claimed ownership of the land, using the Adenta District Police to back his actions.

Reports suggest the MCE made false claims that the land was acquired from the State Housing Corporation.

Tensions rose when police arrested individuals attempting to rebuild a demolished wall.
