On Facebook, Dr. Adutwum shared that he donated GH¢100,000 and 200 bags of cement. This donation aims to help rebuild the affected area.

He is the third politician from the NPP to visit the burnt market. Former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Ohene Agyapong have also visited.

In his Facebook post, Dr. Adutwum expressed sadness over the fire disaster on March 21, 2025. He noted how years of hard work by traders were lost in an instant.

He emphasized the need for better fire safety education in markets and public places. As an MP from Ashanti Region, he wants to help those affected get back on their feet.

Dr. Adutwum encouraged victims not to give up hope. He urged them to work with authorities for recovery and promised ongoing support during this tough time.
