Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum recently visited Adum Blue Light in Kumasi. He came to support the victims of a recent fire. His visit has sparked speculation about his presidential ambitions for the NPP.

Although he hasn't officially announced his candidacy, many believe he will run. His appearance at the fire-damaged area suggests he is interested in the top NPP position.

On his Facebook page, Dr. Adutwum shared that he donated GH¢100,000 and 200 bags of cement. This donation aims to help rebuild the affected market.

He is the third politician from the NPP to visit this site. Former Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Ohene Agyapong have also shown their support.

In his Facebook post, Dr. Adutwum expressed sadness over the traders' losses. He noted that years of hard work were destroyed by the fire on March 21, 2025.

He emphasized the need for better fire safety education in markets and public places. As an MP from Ashanti Region, he wants to help those affected get back on their feet.

Dr. Adutwum encouraged victims not to give up hope. He urged them to work with authorities for recovery and promised ongoing support during these tough times.
