Supporters of former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Adwoa Safo, gathered at the NPP headquarters in Accra on Monday, April 7, ahead of her anticipated appearance before the party’s disciplinary committee.

This follows her recent comments on JoyNews’ The Pulse, which the party believes violated a directive barring public statements that could harm its unity.

Adwoa Safo was to answer questions regarding her remarks about the party’s 2024 electoral performance.

Her case is part of a broader probe into internal criticisms and their effect on the NPP's image. The summons was issued on March 24, 2025, by party officials.
