Majority Chief Whip and South Dayi MP, Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor, has criticized Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin's leadership, claiming his approach has sparked discontent within both opposition and ruling party ranks.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Dafeamekpor accused Afenyo-Markin of excessive press conferences, exaggerating parliamentary issues, and staging walkouts—even on government matters.
He recalled similar complaints during Afenyo-Markin’s tenure as Majority Leader.
With Parliament in recess, Dafeamekpor hopes the Minority Leader will reflect on his leadership from January to March and adopt a more constructive approach when the House reconvenes.
