Afram Plains North MP affirms NDC affiliation in 9th Parliament

Afram Plains North MP, Worlase Kpeli, has confirmed his alignment with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the ninth parliament.

As an independent legislator, he stated that he is caucusing with the Majority side, reinforcing his ties with the party.

When asked about his voting decisions in parliamentary proceedings, Kpeli declined to disclose his stance, emphasizing that votes are "secret and sacred." However, he maintained, “I am a constant NDC affiliate as we speak now because I am caucusing with them. Nothing has changed.”

Kpeli also commended the government for the budget presented by Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.

He expressed confidence that, if well implemented, the budget could restore Ghana’s economy, adding that its simplicity makes it understandable for all citizens, including traders and farmers.
