Worlase Kpeli, the MP for Afram Plains North, has expressed concern. He highlighted the severe lack of infrastructure in his constituency. There is not a single tarred road in the area.
On Citi FM’s Eyewitness News, he described the roads as deplorable. He said, “Not even a tarred road. It is a muddy road.” The only existing roads date back to the PNDC era. They have deteriorated due to years of neglect and lack of maintenance.
Kpeli noted that poor road conditions hurt the local economy and development efforts. Despite this, he remains optimistic about future improvements. He mentioned renewed political will to address these issues.
He stated, “With efforts from His Excellency John Mahama, this term will be one of the best for Afram Plains.”
