Africa needs to change educational system - Professor Lumumba

African countries, including Ghana, need to change their educational systems. This is essential for relevance in the 21st century. Professor PLO Lumumba, a Kenyan lawyer and activist, emphasized this point.

He warned that maintaining the current system would hinder progress. It could keep Africa as a tool for exploitation by other nations.

Professor Lumumba spoke at a public lecture on Friday. The event took place at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW). The theme was “Empowering minds, shaping futures for 21st century education.”
