African leaders must draw lessons from Rwandan genocide - Rosemary Mbabazi

The Rwandan ambassador to Ghana, Mrs. Rosemary Mbabazi, spoke about unity. She urged African leaders to learn from Rwanda's genocide experience.

Mrs. Mbabazi emphasized the importance of justice and unity on the continent. She noted that President Paul Kagame has maintained unity in Rwanda for 31 years.

“Together we are strong, but divided we can fall,” she said. She reminded everyone that division led to Rwanda's genocide.

Her remarks came during the 31st anniversary of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. The event took place in Accra on Monday. It was a time for Rwanda and the world to remember the victims of this tragedy.
