Agbodza concludes 1-day tour of Western North Region; assures residents of improved road network

The Minister for Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, recently visited the Western North Region. He assured chiefs and residents of the government's commitment to improving their road network.

During his visit, the Minister emphasized that ongoing projects would be completed. This will enhance connectivity and infrastructure development in the region.

Mr. Agbodza inspected several key road projects. These included the Tepa (Mabang) – Goaso Road, Benchema Barrier - Juaboso Road, and Nsawora - Sefwi Wiawso Road Bridge.

He highlighted that these projects are vital for economic growth. They also improve access to essential services. He pledged to expedite their completion while ensuring value for money.

The Minister reiterated the government’s dedication to quality road infrastructure nationwide. He stressed that transparency and efficiency are top priorities.

Mr. Agbodza assured stakeholders that necessary resources would be allocated. This will help complete the projects on time.

He was accompanied by engineers and officials from various departments. They included the Ministry of Roads and Highways, Ghana Highways Authority, and Department of Feeder Roads.

The delegation assessed project progress and engaged with local authorities. They addressed concerns related to road construction and maintenance.
