Richard Ahiagbah, the Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a statement. He clarified that the party’s post-election report will remain confidential. It will not be available to the public.
The report was compiled by a committee led by Prof. Mike Oquaye. This committee assessed the party’s performance in the 2024 general elections. Ahiagbah emphasized that this document is for internal use only.
He stated, “I don’t think so. It is an internal document.” The report will aid in the party’s reform process and help prepare for victory in 2028. He added, “It is clearly implied that the document is not meant for public consumption.”
Ahiagbah assured supporters that key insights would still be shared. He said, “There’s a way our supporters will go about it.” The report serves as a working document with important recommendations for future actions.
This post-election report contains detailed suggestions to address challenges from the 2024 campaign. It is expected to significantly influence NPP’s strategy and reforms ahead of the 2028 elections.
