Ahmed Suale's murder: Prosecution amends charges against suspect - Channel1 News

The prosecution has updated the charges against Daniel Owusu Koranteng. He is the suspect in journalist Ahmed Suale’s murder.

On April 2, 2025, this change was announced in court. The new charge is abetment to commit murder.

Daniel Owusu Koranteng has been on remand since his arrest. He allegedly shared images of Ahmed Suale before his death. He was also near the crime scene during the murder in January 2019.

Initially, he faced a murder charge when arraigned on March 19. Now, the prosecution has added abetment to commit murder.

The court has remanded him again. The case will continue on April 17.
