Akufo-Addo hails "Boss" Kufuor in Easter reunion

Former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Akufo-Addo met recently. They enjoyed a friendly catch-up during the Easter season.

Akufo-Addo shared this moment on Facebook on April 20. He referred to Kufuor as his "boss" in the post.

Both men are key figures in the New Patriotic Party (NPP). They guide younger politicians through party challenges.

Akufo-Addo wrote, “With Easter's consecrated period came the privilege of meeting my boss.” He praised Kufuor’s cheerful spirit and leadership.

Kufuor was the first NPP president, followed by Akufo-Addo. In October 1998, Akufo-Addo ran for president but lost to Kufuor.

Kufuor won the December 2000 election and became President in January 2001. Akufo-Addo campaigned for him during that election.

Later, Akufo-Addo served as Attorney General under Kufuor's administration. He eventually became president after winning in 2016.

Their meeting reflects Easter values of unity and service. It reminds Ghanaians of positive relationships and legacies.
