President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to equitable development, with infrastructure playing a central role in this vision.
During the inauguration of Phase II of the Tema Motorway Interchange on December 2, 2024, he highlighted the project as key to decentralizing economic opportunities and addressing regional disparities.
Akufo-Addo emphasized that his administration's infrastructure initiatives, including the Pokuase and Tamale interchanges, are part of a broader strategy to promote balanced growth across the country.
He also noted significant investments in railways, healthcare, and education, aiming to build a resilient and inclusive Ghana.
Additionally, two major interchanges in Accra, the Flowerpot and Obetsebi Lamptey Interchanges, have been commissioned to ease traffic congestion.
