Akufo-Addo’s damaged statue repaired

The damaged section of President Akufo-Addo’s statue at Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi has been repaired, restoring it to its original state.

The monument, unveiled on November 6, had a gaping hole in one leg, sparking speculation of vandalism or structural flaws.

Despite the fix, some residents demand the statue’s removal, citing unfinished regional projects like the Takoradi Market Circle and Sekondi-Takoradi road dualization.
