‘Al Jazeera is a propaganda tool’ – Israeli Ambassador to Ghana

Israel’s Ambassador to Ghana, Roey Gilad, has accused Al Jazeera of acting as a propaganda tool for Hamas in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

Speaking on Joy News, he claimed the network’s coverage is biased and aligns with Hamas’ agenda due to its financial backing from Qatar.

He argued that Al Jazeera’s reporting misrepresents the situation and serves Hamas’ interests in the war, which began on October 7, 2023, and has resulted in thousands of casualties on both sides. Gilad called for direct negotiations for peace instead of media campaigns.
